First Hallertau Riverhead of 2025 is on the 5th of January, usual times and do book first please to avoid disappointment.

Hey Stinky Jim. Just want to say a huge Thankyou from me and my ears. Been laid low with pesky long Covid for 2 years -and after discovering Stinky Grooves on Bfm – I now have time to luxuriate at leisure with your fabulous play lists. They give me a lift every week- and also, as recommended I purchase stuff to support the artists. So thanks again – I really do appreciate the knowledge and effort and passion that goes into crafting every show . Cheers!!!

So sorry to hear about the beyond pesky long Covid and I know there are many more in a similar position who seem to be wilfully ignored by media and the state, it is beyond fuckery and a situation that cannot continue.
Knowing that Stinky Grooves helps provide a bit of diversion, even succour is exactly what makes the whole process worthwhile, thank you for letting me know.
Likewise supporting the artists and producers, which is fundamental to the aim of the show. 35 years ago when it started it was most often all about playing what no one else had or could easily access (as was most of bFM then) and even though I still cop complaints for being unshazamable I love the fact that now everyone with the means and desire can get their hands on and support this wonderful, ever evolving music.
Hope you’ve had a quality Xmas and 2025 has some health improvements or at the very least crookness management in store for you.

As always like the unobserved tree falling it doesn’t mean a thing without the ears on the other end so thank you too for your part in all of this.
As it goes I agree with you on the insanely good grooves, while nothing in ‘the industry’ has maintained, let alone got better the music itself, even though there may be way way too much of it and the vast majority is absolute tosh, does continue to soar and score, glaze and amaze.
Hope you’re having a wicked festive season and looking forward to filling your lugs with some of the gems I’ve been picking up while the transmissions are hushed.
